I think that high schools in Japan should require their students to volunteer. First, volunteer activities are beneficial when students think about and choose their careers. If students study only in their schools, it is difficult to know what kind of job is suitable for them. Volunteer activities will teach students about the real society and jobs. Second, when volunteering, students often have to try problems which don’t have clear solutions. This kind of experience is beneficial because we face many unprecedented problems in today’s society. In conclusion, high schools in Japan should encourage their students to join volunteer activities.

Countries with high income don’t mismanage much plastic waste probably because they have technologies to recycle plastics. Countries with low income don’t mismanage a lot of plastic waste, either. This may be because plastic products aren’t always available in poor countries. The countries which mismanage the most plastic waste are the ones with middle income. They don’t have enough technologies to recycle plastics while many plastics are circulating there.
