A high salary is surely one of the important factors when searching for a job. However, I believe there is something more crucial.
First, you should consider career opportunities. Your working time occupies a substantial part of your life. Hence, if your carrier is not what you are interested in, your working time will be boring and meaningless.
Second, quality of life is one thing you should think about. For example, if you work for a very long time every day, you may be exhausted physically and mentally. Not only you but also your family members may have problems because of your health condition. Therefore, you should choose a company which ensures your healthy life.
In conclusion, I think carrier options and QOL are something to pay more attention to than a salary when looking for a job.
