It is true that school education in Japan has been improved a lot but I still feel that high school education in Japan needs to be improved.
First, quality of teaching is quite low. Of course, there are many excellent teachers but some teachers aren’t qualified at all. For example, my teachers in my high school didn’t even understand the contents of the textbooks and told me to study by myself. The Japanese government should take a measure to recruit qualified teachers.
Second, in today’s global world, Japanese students should have the ability to explain about Japanese history and cultures. But students don’t have enough opportunities to study these things. People can’t become global people just through studying foreign languages.
In conclusion, the Japanese government should improve high school education by employing more qualified teachers and offering more global education.
