Honesty and intelligence are essential traits for normal people. However, people who have such traits cannot always become a good leader. Hence, I believe that most valuable quality for a leader is ambition. Leaders should have ambition to improve something. Unfortunately, the current Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida doesn’t have ambition at all although he may be honest and intelligent. Accordingly, Japan is struggling both politically and economically. Hence, an ambitious prime minister is imperative. Ambitious leaders usually continue to improve themselves. Therefore, such people try to learn to be honest and intelligent even if they are not honest or intelligent now. In conclusion, ambition is the most valuable quality for leaders.
