I feel that advertising has too much influence on the way people spend money.
First, as people use new technology such as smartphones and tablets, they encounter advertisements more frequently than before. Some people are influenced when they see the same ads repeatedly. Personally, I see the exact same ads about ten times a day when I open a new website. I have to wait until the movie ads finish. After that, I sometimes buy the advertised products or services.
Second, although some ads are not so reliable, they look really reliable. These days, the quality of ads is improving, and people tend to be affected by them. Some ads use moving music and beautiful images, which attract more and more people.
In conclusion, people’s spending habits are heavily influenced by modern advertising.
